Yorkshire Coast brewery celebrates White Rose shortlist success
Wold Top Brewery has reached the shortlist in the Taste of Yorkshire category of the Welcome to Yorkshire White Rose Awards.
The Wold Newton farm based brewery is one of six finalists and faces tough competition fromCannon Hall Farm, Barnsley; Cedar Barn Farm Shop, Pickering; Fodder, Harrogate; Miller's Fish and Chips, York and The Firebox Café, Hawes.
The Taste of Yorkshire award aims to reward tourism bosses who produce a quality end product or uses local produce and contributes to the long term sustainability of the local community. The winners will be announced at the White Rose ceremony later in the year.
Of the shortlist, Kate Balchin said: "It's been a great year for the area with another successful Tour de Yorkshire and we're delighted to have reached the final of this competition that celebrates all things Yorkshire."
