Raise your glasses for The Whitewed Directory Awards

The Whitewed Directory, home to Wiltshire and Gloucestershire’s best wedding planners and organisers, has announced a first-ever awards ceremony for its suppliers.

On 1st February 2018, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon, the directory’s gold-standard services will be celebrated in the newest event on the awards calendar.

The Whitewed Directory has become the region’s ultimate resource for soon-to-be newlyweds. Its bar-setting Code of Practice and vetting process defines its success.

Natalie Lovett, Director of the Whitewed Directory, said: “I’m so excited about this news for all our incredibly dedicated suppliers. What they deliver for newlyweds is exceptional, and I believe it’s the right time to recognise both their passion and professionalism.”

Nominations for The Whitewed Directory Awards are now open in the following categories: Business Person of the Year 2017, Most Inspiring Business Person of the Year 2017 and Start-up Business of the Year 2017.

Directory members can either self-nominate or nominate others. Meanwhile, there’s still time for non-members to join and pit themselves against the region’s best. All new entrants should contact The Whitewed Directory on 01793 238 921 or
hello@whitewed.directory for more information.

Business of the Year 2017 recognises the individual or supplier that has provided a service/product that stands above peers and competitors. Considerations including consistent sales over the past year, customer service, a niche position in its industry, longevity, and/or outstanding innovation.

In the Start-up Business of the Year 2017 category, the judges will look for a start-up business with the most innovative service/product combined with strong turnover growth over the past year.

Finally, in the Most Inspiring Business Person of the Year 2017 category, judges will be looking for an inspirational story from one individual. Perhaps they’ve gone above and beyond, exceeded all expectations or defied stereotypes.

All entrants must write a submission of no more than 500 words and can be completed online at www.whitewed.directory/ww-awards.html.

Covering 40 types of supplier, from bands and musicians to toastmasters and chocolate fountains, The Whitewed Directory is renowned in the South West for delivering fully-vetted, approved and accredited wedding service companies.

Natalie Lovett is an entrepreneur in the truest sense. She draws on years of expertise to sustain her business’ growth. Accepted as an Associate Member of the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners (UKAWP) in 2012, Natalie has since supplied weddings in the UK, abroad, and built excellent partnerships in her local business communities.
