Surf t-shirts. Original beachwear - Rincon and Wave from T-lab.

Hi

Our new surf themed shirts are available for samples this week and will be live onwww.t-lab.eufrom Wednesday. If you have any last minute summer features coming together, copy and low res images are here -

Rincón
In this sporty, active, tech design we've picked up on warm oranges to reflect the climate and sea temperature of Rincón. The coloured flag (which shows the shape of the coastline) echoes windsurf sails and sailing boat spinnakers as well as iconic 60s surf imagery. Our design combines modern, contemporary styling with retro colours.

Rincón is a laid-back resort in western Puerto Rico sticking out into the Caribbean sea and surrounded by great surf breaks, Rincón means angle or corner in Spanish as shown by the coastline shape in this T-lab design. It hosted the Surfing World Championships in 1968 and has never looked back since, dude.

Wave
We love the surf. Our Wave shirt is inspired by Cornish Atlantic rollers and the body boarding fun which goes with them.

Background

We're a small team and as designers enjoy looking for a creative way to express ourselves. T-shirts, with their history of youthful, easy-going style are a great way to do that.

Our shirts are designed in Rutland and screen printed in Nottingham. Since starting T-lab, we've seen our designs featured in magazines and website in many different countries, and sell shirts to men and women worldwide.

We chose the name T-lab because the whole project was an experiment, creating a design approach that was different to anything else. Our aim for the future is to create an ever-improving range of designs, all held together by our distinctive design approach of lateral thinking and sharp styling.
