27thApril

PRESS RELEASE:

UnLtd partners with AbilityNet Tech4Good Awards

The AbilityNet Tech4Good Awards are delighted to announce UnLtd as a new partner this year.

As the leading provider of support to social entrepreneurs in the UK, UnLtd backs individuals to start up, grow and accelerate sustainable social ventures, investing directly in people and providing them with financial and non-financial support.

The awards were created by AbilityNet with the help of BT and a number of businesses, charities and non-profit partners and sponsors, because we want to know about companies that are utilising the empowering influence of digital technology - whether it's at home, at work or in education. Access to the digital world can be life changing.

As a partner of the awards, UnLtd will be inviting this year's Tech4Good Awards finalists to an event about social entrepreneurship and funding, so that they can find out more about the support that is on offer and what the eligibility criteria is.

Mark Walker, Head of Marketing and Communications at AbilityNet said: "For many in the tech for good community access to professional support is a critical part of ensuring a projects ongoing sustainability.

"UnLtd operates a unique model by investing directly in individuals and offering a much-needed package of resources; from awards of funding to ongoing advice, networking and practical support. By partnering with UnLtd, we are able to offer our finalists access to potential new avenues of support."

Albert Chong, Head of Quality and Performance at UnLtd said: "UnLtd backs social entrepreneurs with the vision, drive and commitment to find solutions that change the world for the better - and the tech4good awards offer many inspiring examples of individuals and projects doing just that.

"We're looking forward to meeting the finalists and seeing what they do next - with the potential to work together to help them scale and grow their impact."
