Leading logistics training businesses support Talent in Logistics Awards 2017

Talent in Logistics is pleased to announce that Merlin Supply Chain Solutions, Mentor FLT Training and Specialised Training Services will sponsor the Talent in Logistics Awards.

Merlin Supply Chain Solutions will sponsor the LGV Driver Training Provider of the Year category at the forthcoming event, while Specialised Training Services are supporting the Training/L&D Manager of the Year category.  Mentor FLT Training is also confirmed sponsor of the Lifetime Contribution to Training & Development in Logistics award.

The Talent in Logistics Awards is a unique, annual event dedicated to recognising and rewarding excellence in training, learning and development in the logistics sector.  Unlike other awards in the logistics sector, they reward the training teams, L&D professionals and line managers who train, nurture and mentor the skilled people who keep the UK and Ireland moving.

Entering the awards online at www.talentinlogistics.co.uk/enter-awards/ is free, quick and easy and organisations have until 28th April 2017 to make their nominations.

A number of other leading organisations are supporting the Talent in Logistics Awards, including UniCarriers, sponsor of the International Forklift Operator of the Year Award, alongside competition partners McCue and test sponsors Pyroban and Transaid.  The National Register of LGV Instructors (NRI), is also confirmed as sponsor of LGV Instructor of the Year and RTITB, the leading transport training accrediting body, is also supporting the event.

A few remaining sponsorship packages are still available for the Talent in Logistics Awards and Conference.  To get involved, call +44(0) 1903 204187 or contact talentinlogistics@captib.co.uk

The Talent in Logistics Awards will be judged by representatives of leading industry bodies and associations within the logistics sector including the Road Haulage Association, National Register of LGV Instructors, CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport) and Fork Lift Truck Association. The panel will also include representatives from event media partners SHD Logistics, Transport Operator, Health and Safety at Work and Training Journal, and charity Transaid.

Shortlisted finalists will be announced in May and winners will be revealed at the Talent in Logistics Awards on the evening of 22nd June 2017 at the Telford International Centre.  The Awards will be presented by special guest host, stand-up comedian, and star of BBC One sitcom ‘Not Going Out’, Tim Vine, over a champagne reception and deluxe three course dinner.

Tickets for the Talent in Logistics Awards are available from £150 and special discounts are available for bookings of tables of 10. To book a place at the Awards event, contact talentinlogistics@capitb.co.uk.

No other event is dedicated exclusively to the development of people in logistics, making it an unmissable event for LGV and Materials Handling Equipment Trainers, Learning and Development (L&D) Managers, HR Managers, Transport Managers, Health & Safety Managers and Commercial Training Organisations who care about their own professional development and procuring quality training for their business.

Talent in Logistics is organised by Capitb, which also owns workplace transport training regulatory body RTITB and the new National Register of LGV Instructors (NRI).
