Loyal members of the
DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon can now book their rooms using a combination of
Points at Amazon.com and money following the hotel’s recent rebrand.
In February 2017, the DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon’s brand relaunch party
revealed a new, localised design and brasserie called 14Twelve. But now there
is more good news for its loyalty programme customers.
Hilton and Hilton Honors members can now not only combine Points from up to 11
different Amazon.com accounts through Amazon Shop with Points — making group
bookings easier — but eligible Diamond members can also extend their loyalty status
when life puts travel stays on hold.
General Manager of the hotel, Adam Flint, said: “When we launched the rebranded
hotel, we emphasised our commitment to improving our customers’ experience.
That includes making a booking with us before you arrive and after you leave.
Therefore, I’m excited that our Hilton and Hilton Honors members can now enjoy
these new, flexible options.”
When members use the DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon website, they can now use a
slider to choose how much money they pay and how many Points they use. It’s
hoped to be especially useful for big family reunions, parties, weddings and
other events where group stays are essential.
The booking system update follows other industry-first moves by the worldwide
Hilton brand. Hilton and Hilton Honors members of the DoubleTree by Hilton
Swindon can also select which room they want to stay in and, later this year,
will be able access their room using a Digital Key on the Hilton Honors app.
Extended Diamond membership is particularly great news for people who love
staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon, but can’t for a prolonged period.
The reason doesn’t matter. Whether work changes, babies are born or travelling
calls, eligible Hilton and Hilton Honors members can now protect their benefits
with a one-year extension.
DoubleTree
by Hilton Swindon is located on the edge of Swindon town centre, offering the
perfect base for guests to explore the surrounding, picturesque countryside.
Within walking distance to the hotel, there are historic houses, gardens and
parks for guests to explore on foot.
