Bartercard UK’s leader looks for growth alongside Europe

Philip Ciniglio, CEO of Bartercard Europe, has announced his leadership of Bartercard Operations UK Ltd (Europe) as part of his continental remit with parent company, BPS Technology Ltd (BPS).

Philip sits on the Global Leadership Team of BPS Technology Ltd, which currently
holds four proven and successful brands in transactional platform management systems, including Bartercard.

“As CEO of Bartercard Europe for BPS Technology,” said Philip, “the UK franchise now sits under my leadership of the expanding European portfolio”.

“We have clear objectives to expand Bartercard across Europe. We use Master Franchising as our distribution channel with the UK being our National Office for training and support of the European Master Franchisees. We will continue to grow our UK Bartercard Trade Exchange whilst continuing to develop Europe. We have secured a license for France which will be launched in the second half of 2017 with several other countries under negotiations”

Philip takes control of Bartercard Operations UK Ltd (Europe) with over 30 years’ experience in international franchising, sales and marketing. British born and raised Philip immigrated to Australia in the late eighties where he developed over 30 franchise systems for well-known brands and, in 2012, was presented with the coveted Contribution to Franchising Australia Award.

Account Managers located across the UK work together to guarantee members new sales. By joining Bartercard, businesses can use their spare capacity to make new sales and gain access to a whole new market of customers who are looking to spend their credit in place of cash and then purchase products and services with that credit.

Globally, Bartercard operates in eight countries, through 75 offices with 600 staff.
The platform means businesses can leverage buying power both nationally and internationally — even when cash flow has slowed or credit has become inaccessible.
