New base for memory servicein Milton Keynes

Milton Keynes's Specialist Memory Service is moving home.

Currently based at Cripps Lodge in Broadlands, it is relocating to the Stantonbury Health Centre in Purbeck on 20 March, which is on a direct bus route.

Team manager Ann Saunders said: "We are excited about this move as the building is fit-for-purpose and will be more welcoming and accessible for our service users and families. However, while we intend to be operational during this period we would ask you to be patient with us."

The service will continue to respond to telephone calls on the existing telephone number of 01908 254322 until the transition is completed on 22 March. The new telephone number of 01908 801020 should be operational from this date.

The service offers a comprehensive psychiatric and neuro-psychological assessment of an individual's memory, along with support, education, information, and group and individual sessions following diagnosis.
