Flower Subscription Launches to End Last Minute Anniversary and Birthday Panic
Flower Subscription Launches to End Last Minute Anniversary and Birthday Panic

Richmond based entrepreneur Christina Richardson is launching an ingenious tech platform in time for Valentine’s Day, Obviously the online flower subscription service is improving the relationships of 53%* of men who routinely forget special occasions, anniversaries and birthday dates.

Check out www.obviously.io and load up the special dates which are personal to you and the important people in your life – and the perfect bouquet will be delivered to their door in time, every time, without any of the last-minute panic. It’s a bit like having a robot PA (obviously).

“Obviously was founded by myself and my business partner” Says Christina Richardson, owner and co-founder of Obviously.oi “the idea came about after one of us forgot an anniversary and then Valentine's day ...within a two week period. But as apologies go, building Obviously is a pretty grand gesture, no?!”

“Obviously this is so much more than flowers – we deliver brownie points - so there's much more to follow...”

Valentine's Day gifting drives over £1.6bn+ in spending across the UK, so romance is far from dead. But according to the ladies, only 41%** 'always remember' Valentine's Day, and 43%** of men are leaving it to the day before, using smartphones to buy something, over-priced and on the hoof.

How it works:

ü  WHO? – Add all the must-remember dates for those that matter. From anniversaries, birthdays, Mother’s day and of course Valentine’s Day.

ü  WHAT? – Stunning hand-tied bouquets, from £35, are crafted in time for each special date. You can add your preferences but if you don’t know your peonies from your petunias just leave it to our florist experts.

ü  WHERE? Bouquets (+ brownie points) are delivered in time, every time, across the UK. Plus you get a text reminder on the day to take all the credit.
