TOP VOCAL UNSIGNED TALENT SHOWCASES THIS TUESDAY AT LONDON'S HOTTEST LIVE MUSIC VENUE - PIANO WORKS

Showcasing at the Emerging Talent Night on Tuesday 31stJanuary at Piano Works, Farringdon (www.pianoworks.bar) - recently described as the hottest live venue in London by The Express Newspaper - are three exciting and hugely talented unsigned artists who will be taking to the stage to wow the audience.

First up is Sharlette, a talented singer/songwriter from London, who brings her contemporary soulful/bluesy pop sounds to the masses.

[image]Her influences range from Etta James to Paloma Faith, which is evident when Sharlette delivers her stunning bluesy powerful, yet beautiful vocals, coupled with hypnotic soulful rocky sounds on guitar.

Having recently performed with LeAnn Rimes as her backing vocalist at Hyde Park attended by 55,000 people, Sharlette will also be found on ITV's Endeavour, Series 4, Episode  2, opening the program in song.

Sharlette has played at various venues in and around London including Roof Gardens, Upstairs at Ronnie Scott's, Century Club, the world renowned Metropolis Studios, Sanctum Hotel, Under The Bridge (Chelsea football club), XOYO and more.


Also much in demand to perform at festivals, such as: The world famous "London Coffee Festival" 2015/16 and further afield to include The Amsterdam Coffee Festival, Marylebone Festival, Rye Jazz Festival and more.

Having recently featured on BalconyTV and various other music media platforms, Sharlette is currently recording her EP which is due for release later this year.

Also taking to the stage is Steve Young -
a globetrotting session guitarist, teacher & entertainer turned Singer/Songwriter. 

Early TV appearances with Lionel Richie & Peter Andre soon led to full time touring duties with world famous artists - most notably, ex Savage Garden front man Darren Hayes, which took Steve on trips around the world performing at the Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Arena, Brisbane QPAC, LA Roxy and many more, ending as co-writer on his last album in 2012.



Since writing and releasing an EP in 2014 and crowd funded album in 2016, Steve has performed at The London O2 - Country 2 Country Festival, Time Out London's 'Rising Stars of UK Country', multiple shows at the Edinburgh Free Fringe, recorded live for Bob Harris' - Under The Apple Tree Sessions, opened for Carlene Carter (daughter of Johnny Cash's wife, June Carter) as well as opening sets for Broadway Star - Ramin Karimloo, UK Blues Artist - Jo Harman, Brit Award winner Tom O'Dell (Help Refugees) as well as many solo gigs around the UK.


In January 2017 he will be releasing his 3rd single from the 'Troubadour' album - a remixed & remastered version of 'In My Dreams' which has enjoyed radio play around the world including BBC Radio 2, Radio Caroline, Chris Country Radio and 100's of community / online stations.

Catch Steve live on tour in Jan/Feb 2017 as he plays 30+ Caffè Nero stores as their 'Artist Of The Month'.
