Aubrey Logan is Back to Perform a Number of Dates in the UK

Jazz singing, trombone-slinging chanteuseAubrey Logan, critically acclaimed for her club and concert appearances around the world, is back in the UK following her highly successful performances in London during December.

After touring with Scott Bradlee's famed music collective Postmodern Jukebox last year, in between a packed schedule of solo gigs, US artist Aubrey Logan is returning to London by popular demand. Prepare for performances that break all the traditional genre barriers as LA's Queen of Sass ​combines her soaring jazz vocals with R&B, neo-soul, pop and a touch of rock. Oh, and she is a phenomenal trombone player!
 

Aubrey Logan is back in the UK in February performing at thePizza Express Music Lounge- 32, Earl Street, Maidstone Kent onSaturday 18th Februarybefore returning to London, where she has a gig at thePizza Express Jazz Club, 10, Dean Street, Soho onMonday 20thand Tuesday 21stFebruary.
 

Aubrey will be supported by her​ band of talented ​London​ musicians and will be showcasing her favourite covers as well as original compositions ​and collaborations with David Yaden, who helped write ‘Need You Now,' by Lady Antebellum, and Pam Sheyne, who wrote ‘Genie in a Bottle' for Christina Aguilera.

About Aubrey Logan:

A graduate of Boston's esteemed Berklee College of Music, in 2009 Logan was the winner of the Audience Choice Award and took 1st Place at the Shure-Montreux Jazz Voice Competition at the Montreux Jazz Festival. She has an incredible vocal gift, sensitivity for translating thoughts into song, and a wicked way of jamming on a trombone that is gaining her a huge reputation on both sides of the pond.

Aubrey has shared the stage with the likes of Burt Bacharach, Linda Ronstadt, Smokey Robinson and Pharrell Williams and recorded with Patrice Rushen, Josh Groban and Quincy Jones, amongst others.

She has just recentlyreleased her new single, "Pistol" from her forthcoming debutalbum,Impossible. "We titled it Impossible because so many people were saying it couldn't be done, that we couldn't pull together an album with such a diversity of styles and genres." Indeed, works on the album range from those of Logan's original compositions to the hip-hop of MC Hammer and the operatic melodies of Georges Bizet.
