DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE DESTINED FOR THE TOP IN THE UK HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY?

[image]Can you help The Royal Academy of Culinary Arts find its next Young Chef, Young Pastry Chef or Young Waiter? With the hospitality industry being one of the biggest employment sectors in the UK, many of us have a family member, friend or neighbour who works in a restaurant or a hotel - either as a chef or in the all-important ‘front of house' service side of the business. Well, if you think they may be destined for great things, do suggest that they consider entering one of the UK's top awards, the Annual Awards of Excellence, run by this prestigious organisation. They could be following in the footsteps ofNathan Outlaw,of Great British Menu and Saturday Kitchen fame,Mark Sargeant,Claire Clark MBE MCA, William Curley MCAandMasterchef: The Professionals winner 2015 Mark Stinchcombe, all of whom are past winners. Entrants must be aged between 20 and 26 as at 31 December 2016 and working full-time in the industry*

Since 1983, over 550 young professionals have achieved the Academy's Award of Excellence, putting them right on track and providing o[image]pportunities for a successful career path. Rather than being a competition, this is an exam, and only candidates who attain the standards of excellence set by the judges will win the award. The successful candidate who scores the highest marks in their section will be name the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts Young Chef, Young Pastry Chef or Young Waiter 2017.
