Hoppecke strengthens its nationwide team of service engineers

Increasing its focus on delivering the highest possible standards of after-sales service to users of its advanced battery systems, Hoppecke Industrial Batteries has strengthened its nationwide team of service engineers with two key appointments.

The leading specialist in industrial battery systems and the largest battery manufacturer in European ownership, Hoppecke prides itself on providing the best quality battery maintenance service in the UK. These latest additions to the service team will ensure Hoppecke remains the only battery manufacturer in the country to offer a four-hour response rate to customers, wherever they may be based. On top of this, for some time the company has been able to provide immediate on-site solutions to any customer problems in an impressive 93 per cent of cases.

Evidence of Hoppecke's commitment to delivering a genuinely UK-wide service is its move to replace outsourced service contractors in Scotland with dedicated Hoppecke engineers who are now able to deliver a direct maintenance service to customers for the first time. This move underlines how important the Scottish market is to Hoppecke and means that the company will now have much greater control over ensuring its customers receive the correct engineering quality standards in terms of battery use.

In addition to this expansion in its team of service engineers, Hoppecke has recently taken on six new members of staff across the UK, including key positions in contract administration, sales administration and supply chain support. The company is also looking to recruit a further specialist in the reserve power sector - which is becoming an increasingly important area for Hoppecke - and another service engineer in the south west of England.

Enquiries are at a record high across our whole product range - including lead acid, fibre nickel cadmium (FNC), lithium-ion (LiOn) and explosion-proof batteries. We have also enjoyed major success with our chargers and our green energy solutions based around renewable energy sources."

Jason Howlett adds: "I am particularly delighted that we can now offer a much more direct and personal engineering service to our customers in the crucially important Scotland market. Furthermore, as we recruit more top quality staff we will be able to continue to improve the standard of services that we deliver to users of our energy solutions across the whole of the UK."
