The worthy enterprise was the result of an inspired collaboration betweenThe Haven + Londonhttp://thehavenlondon.com, set up to support the emotional, psychological and financial needs of London's most vulnerable artists and the renowned American musicianMo Pleasure,(Earth Wind & Fire, keyboardist to Michael Jackson) who is currently Bette Midler's musical director.

The concert featured a variety of musical genres and personalities, who performed for free in the true spirit of Christmas whilst encouraging unity, peace and cheer.

Although the musical theme of the evening was motown and soul, the artists brought together elements of jazz, folk, R&B and country and delivered an unforgettable experience.

A highlight of the concert was the incredible jazz singing, trombone slinging chanteuse - LA's queen of sass, theaward-winningAubrey Logan, whose musical arrangement ofGo Tell it on the Mountainshowcased her incredible vocal gift and wicked way of jamming on the trombone.

Another delight wasRichard Hadfield, who having left Collabro, is now embarking on a much publicised solo career. His performance ofO Holy Nightreverberated around the church moving most of the audience to tears. And keeping the sentiment up, he followed this up his take on Mel Tormé's iconicChristmas SongTormé

Star of the future, 19 year oldKaty Hurt, nominated best artist in the British Country Music Awards 2016, brought country magic to the Christmas hitAll I want for Christmas is Youaccompanied by a wonderfully lively kicking backbeat.

The Gospel Undertones, who have performed withesteemed artists such as Robbie Williams, Mica Paris and Beverly Knight acted as the backbone to the whole evening with their superb harmonies and original arrangements. Their powerfully sentimental song,Our Family, was the perfect end to the evening while musical directorKat Dealshould be congratulated on her moving vocal and sax performance ofSomeday at Christmas.

Spreading the festive cheer wasA Place in the SunpresenterScarlette Douglaswho hosted the evening and former radio presenter and music ‘mogul'Russ Kanewhose light hearted reading based on a modern version of The Nativity spread a festive-themed chuckle throughout the audience!
