Press Release: The 17 Qs Managers/Leaders Should Ask In 2017

THE 17QUESTIONS EVERYONE SHOULD ASK THEMSELVES IN 2017

With a recent survey showing that one in four of us are looking for a new job in 2017* it would appear that a large number of the workforce could be on the move next year. But what should you be thinking about before you take the leap to pastures new? Brilliant business book The 99 Essential Business Questions may not have all the answers about your career change but it certainly has all the questions you need to ask yourself when thinking about a move. Even if you're happy at work, the start of a new year is always a good time to reflect on what could be working better for you and for your company and of course if there's anything more that your company could do for you. Below are 17 questions (taken from the 99 Business Questions) for 2017 that everyone should be asking themselves when they return to work on January 3rd:

25. Which organisation do I most admire?

30. Why am I proud of the organisation for which I work?

42. What would cause me to consider leaving my job or changing careers?

53. What is my unfulfilled dream?

55. How do I survive and flourish by changing faster than my environment?

57. If I received a million pounds to pursue my passion, what would I do?

58. If I were guaranteed success, what would I attempt?

59. How am I doing, and how do I know?

69. What perceptions that others have of me would I like to correct?

73. Are my priorities consistent with my purpose in life?

74. What are the likely future changes in my business landscape?

76. What no longer works for me?

78. How much longer before I can live the life I want to but haven't because of all the things I've had to do?

80. What are my frustrations and disappointments?

83. What decision am I avoiding?

84. What's working well for me at the moment?

97. How do I balance 'work' and 'life'?
