Change in shopping habits leads to new contract win for K3 Syspro
A Lancashire textile company which imports and distributes household and kitchen textiles has chosen to partner with K3 Syspro to update its entire system for planning, purchasing, fulfilment, delivery and tracking of goods.
Global Textiles UK has invested in a fully integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution from K3 Syspro as part of a drive to increase efficiencies throughout the entire business.
The company said changes in shopping habits meant they had outgrown their current system.
Global Textiles UK Operations Director Rick Peat said: "We distribute everything from blinds and curtains to bath mats and oven gloves. In the past that would have involved full containers and bulk orders to retailers and wholesalers.
"Now, as online shopping has evolved, people want everything delivered to their home instead. This means we are delivering thousands of goods next day to individuals which meant we needed a fully integrated system which could cope with this new way of working.
"When we went to the market, K3 Syspro came up time and again as a reliable system. We had a member of staff who had used it at a previous company and recommended it too."
