By Paul Thomas

Fancy taking up a new hobby for 2017? Like the idea of adding homemade cheese and yogurts to your culinary repertoire? Looking for a way to legitimately add even more cheese into your life? Hunting a gift for your cheese-mad friend? We have the just book for you...

[image]This is the ultimate gift for the cheese-obsessed person in your life (if not for yourself, we all know someone who is mad on cheese!). Created by Paul Thomas, one of the UK's leading cheese experts, this gorgeous and affordable new book demonstrates that cheesemaking is simple enough to try at home. Paul recommends you start with some of the easier dairy products including yogurt, butter, cream, crème fraiche, paneer and cottage cheese before moving on to the likes of Mozzarella, Cheddar and Camembert.

Paul Thomas has thought of everything in this book: he suggests do-it yourself alternative equipment, addresses some of the issues relating to food safety in cheesemaking, explains the ingredients from which cheese is made, the processes that influence the transformation of milk to curd and then mature cheese, and provides the home cheesemaker with a broad foundation of knowledge that can be applied when trying out the delicious recipes contained within the book.
