Drapers Awards 2016; Izabel London are nominated as finalists
Izabel London are celebrating their most recent success having being nominated in the Drapers Awards 2016 ‘Mainstream Brand of the Year' category.
The Drapers Awards creates one of the highest profile gatherings for fashion retailers in the UK, bringing together the very best that the UK fashion business has to offer. Celebrating the ‘best of the best' in fashion retailing, the Drapers Awards are the most highly respected industry awards aimed at recognising the top performing and most innovative businesses.
Izabel London's wide range of exotic day wear and accessible evening wear is currently available in over 500 locations across the UK, including prestigious retailers House of Fraser, Dorothy Perkins and Debenhams and in over 1,000 locations worldwide. Their success has not gone unnoticed, and their first time entry and shortlisting for the Drapers Awards this year is said to have come as a great compliment to Izabel London in such a competitive category.
A spokesperson for the Drapers Awards 2016 said, "The biggest and best in the fashion retail industry have spent the past few months preparing their entries for the Drapers Awards. The calibre of entries was extremely high this year".
The brand are up against some huge names in the industry, such as Barbour, Ben Sherman, Hugo Boss, Joules, Little Mistress, Superdry and Ted Baker to name a few, but the team behind the brand remain hopeful. The judging panel is also filled with high-flyers in the industry, including Nigel Oddy, CEO of House of Fraser, Beth Butterwick, Incoming CEO of Karen Millen and Ed Connolly, Fashion and Beauty Buying Director of John Lewis.
