New Solution announces KTEC as master dealer of its new digital label printer and finishing range

Portuguese digital label manufacturer, New Solution, today announced the appointment of industry specialist KTEC as master dealer of its new range of digital label printer and finishing units.

KTEC has specialised in the distribution of desktop roll fed label printers, accessories and consumables for over 30 years. Managing Director and founder of KTEC, Robert Knox explains; "We originally supplied barcode label printers to help identify goods in the manufacturing and supply chain industries. From the year 2000 we specialised in colour label roll printing machines and supplies. Our markets have widened with the growth in demand for in-house printing of short run ‘variable' labels, own branding and personalisation, and we've seen our business grow exponentially."

The New Solution range of digital label print and finishing units was launched at DRUPA earlier this year. Manufactured to the highest of European standards, the New Solution products include the NS PRO label image printer and NS F22 digital finisher.

Fast, accurate and reliable, the NS PRO is a high speed, high quality roll to roll inkjet printer ideal for printing onto low cost pre-cut plain self-adhesive labels, or the printing of full colour label images onto even lower cost continuous self-adhesive rolls for cutting and finishing on the NS F22.

The NS F22 all-in-one finishing solution brings added flexibility of label making with choice of laminating for extreme durability or varied surface finish before a steered blade digital cutter creating labels of any shape or size and for longer runs there is a servo die-cutter. The cut waste matrix is automatically removed before slitting to lanes and winding to finished rolls.

Robert says; "The NS range fits at the very top of our portfolio and into our AnyLabel ® (Any Size + Any Shape + Any Quantity) label making equipment program.

"Our manufacturing customers will enjoy the ability to reduce label inventory to a few rolls of plain label media whilst creating labels quickly for a variety of outgoing goods. Our commercial label print houses will be able to add a digital label roll print capability at an affordable cost."
