BROMSGROVE BASED HIGH TECH COMPANY CELEBRATES 10th ANNIVERSARY

A leading Worcestershire based 3D scanning and digitising company is celebrating its tenth year of trading this year.

Central Scanning Ltd, established by Nick Godfrey in 2006, is a high quality 3D digitising and verification service for UK Manufacturing and interrelated industries. Since the launch ten years ago the company has become one of the UK’s leading Scanning Facilities.

The company has grown considerably over the past decade, now employing ten highly experienced members of staff and housing a vast amount of specialist equipment, including three in-house 3D Printers, in excess of ten scanners and an array of related hardware and software, providing high end 3D Scanning and related services.

There are secure, temperature controlled Lab and Demo rooms located at the Central Scanning headquarters in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. These bespoke systems and facilities help clients achieve precise results from the preliminary stages of design before manufacturing, making the process increasingly economical. These designs achieve the highest quality finish due to the company being one of the only businesses in the UK to possess a smoothing station for finishing FDM prints.

Since its beginning, the company has developed an extensive portfolio by working with reputable car, air-plane and medical companies for engineering development, packaging and supporting historical records and re-manufacture.

Central Scanning are also registered as authorised UK re-sellers of Artec 3D and ZEISS 3D Scanning systems, providing bespoke training and support packages for these ranges.
