With the aim of providing enhanced support for the increasing number of its UK customers and field engineers, Hoppecke Industrial Batteries - the leading specialist in industrial battery systems and the largest battery manufacturer in European ownership - has appointed two new Regional Service Managers.

Both Keith McNeil - Regional Service Manager for the North - and Tony Robinshaw - Regional Service Manager for the South - have many years of experience in the battery and charger sector.

Reporting to Service Director Stuart Browne, Keith and Tony will be responsible for managing Hoppecke's 25-strong team of field engineers across the UK. Keith will handle all accounts north of Newcastle-under-Lyme, where Hoppecke has its centrally located offices, including Scotland. Tony will service every other account, including those in the thriving south east of England.

Stuart says: "Between them, Keith and Tony have a combined 45 years' experience in the battery and charger industry - both within Hoppecke and beyond - and were the perfect choice for us when we set about creating these brand new roles. Hoppecke under its new Managing Director Jason Howlett is all about customer care and these appointments will enable us to improve our standards still further."

The new appointments follow on from recent announcements by Hoppecke UK that it has taken on two new account managers and strengthened its entire senior management team. The company has also introduced an improved five-year warranty service for all its motive power customers.

Says Jason Howlett: "We are all committed at Hoppecke to giving our customers the best possible level of service and I believe the new roles of Regional Service Manager for the North and South will improve this quality even more. The momentum is definitely gathering pace in Hoppecke and field engineers and customers are really going to see a difference now that Tony and Keith are on board."
