DON'T SUFFER WITH UNDER-PERFORMING TEAMS: UPSKILL YOUR PEOPLE TO BUILD HIGH PERFORMING TEAMS, Ei WORLD ADVISES EXECUTIVES

Ei World (http://www.eiworld.org), specialists in emotional intelligence for corporate and public sector organisations, is tackling the challenging issue of lack of engagement and teams underperforming against their potential.

This long established provider of emotional intelligence development has just unveiled their new webinar-based education programme, called 'Team Emotional Intelligence, Survey Accreditation Programme' or 'Team Ei' for short. This programme equips business professionals from all walks of life to facilitate and grow a high performing team and will be of interest to business leaders, team leaders, coaches, change agents and those involved in learning and development. The next ‘Team Ei' programme commences on June 14th.

"It is impossible to avoid emotion within teams, but it is how this emotion is managed which affects a business's performance and culture. I observe teams everyday where there are obvious challenges including communication problems and conflict. It is disturbing to note that many leaders approach such issues through an individual lens - change the people and the problems will go. This approach is flawed and needs to change as even with new teams in place, the same problems persist. Why is that? What we now know is how to build a culture of high team performance in every business or organisation. What we now need to do is to help teams and team leaders to build a high performing and effective culture. The ‘Team Ei programme' is a step towards helping to do just that and we are determined to help more companies experience the performance impact of a team working well." says Geetu Bharwaney, Managing Director of Ei World.

‘Team Ei' provides a detailed action plan for addressing problems such as unproductive conflict, lack of follow-through on commitments, low creativity and innovation, wasted time and energy, lack of resilience or the ability to change, or quite simply addresses the fact that higher performance, greater collaboration and higher productivity in your team is possible.

Geetu Bharwaney adds: "This programme is not soft skills, but a rigorous and validated approach to teaching difficult emotion-based skills which we all need to thrive in today's business world. We start our next ‘Team Ei' series of webinar based education later this month. Joining me will be Dr Vanessa Druskat and Dr Steven Wolff, both world renowned experts in this field.

Full details on the programme can be found on our website. (http://www.eiworld.org/Portals/0/pdf/EIworldteamEIBrochurev16May2016%20compressed%20-%20v2%20-%20TB.pdf)
