Pervacio creates jobs with new Coventry hub

A global software solutions business is creating new jobs following the opening of its regional development hub in Coventry.

Pervacio, which is headquartered in the USA, specialises in containing the cost of mobile phone and electronic device supply chain management. The company is expanding its activities in the UK and the office in Electric Wharf provides a key operations base for its engineers and software architects as well as other core business and client support functions.

The company has already taken on additional engineering support staff to meet the growing demand for its services, and is now actively recruiting for up to 5 new posts, including software developers and programmers.

Commenting on the initiative, Pervacio's Global Head of Marketing, Jason Saunt, said: "We have clients throughout the country so, having decided to establish a regional development hub in the UK, a central location was important. Coventry's proximity to Birmingham and good transport links, makes it the ideal base for us.

"There are also key advantages to being based in an area renowned for creativity, technology and innovation, while the fact that some of the UK's top universities are on the doorstep will help us tap into the local graduate talent pool."

As Pervacio develops its expertise as a global specialist in the end-to-end management of mobile devices, the new Coventry office is set to play a crucial role. As well as enhancing the company's ability to build partnerships with carriers, device manufacturers, retailers and insurance underwriters in the UK, it will also support the development of customised, value added solutions for clients located throughout Europe.

Pervacio operates in the USA,Canada, Hungary, India, Japan, Finland and Australia.The opening of the UK development hub marks the latest phase in its strategic expansion and follows the launch of a similar facility in Finland. Pervacio has also committed to major investment in India, which has seen the hub serving the EMEA/Asia Pacific region triple in size along with the creation of a Global Innovation Centre.
