New Midlands hub for Pervacio

Mobile device automation solutions specialist Pervacio has opened a new regional development hub in Coventry in the West Midlands.

With a primary focus on engineering, R&D and device certification, the facility affords Pervacio's clients direct access to its Revolution Device Management platform, which is designed to contain the cost of mobile electronic device management and supports thousands of devices on some of the most advanced mobile platforms.

The hub provides an operations base for the company's engineers and software architects as well as other core business and client support functions. The interior space is entirely suited to a truly global technical team that is heavily involved in virtual working.

Commenting on the initiative, Pervacio's Global Head of Marketing, Jason Saunt, said: "A dedicated hub will help us to build key partnerships with carriers, device manufacturers, retailers and insurance underwriters in the UK. Importantly, it will also support our development of customised, value added solutions within warehouse device automation and inventory control for clients located throughout Europe."

A central location was a decisive factor, with Coventry's proximity to Birmingham and good transport links enabling Pervacio to support clients across England. An acknowledged centre for technology and innovation, the region is also home to some of the UK's top universities, which means that Pervacio is ideally placed to recruit the best software development and programming graduates. The company is building its team and has taken on additional engineering support staff to meet the growing demand for its services.

Pervacio's CEO Sanjay Kanodia said: "Working in parallel with our other global hubs, our new UK office is set to play a crucial role in allowing us to develop our expertise as a global specialist in the end-to-end management of mobile devices."

This is the latest stage in Pervacio's strategic global expansion and follows the launch of a similar facility in Finland, which provides program management, a call centre and certification for clients in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland. Last year the company committed major investment to India, opening its Global Innovation Centre in Bangalore and tripling the size of the Hyderabad-based hub that serves the EMEA/Asia Pacific region.
