Men in Stafford are being given a challenge by a local psychotherapist: if they are brave enough to come along to a life-changing workshop they will get a free place.

On Saturday 23rd January, Sue Tupling, psychotherapist and yoga teacher, will be running ‘What the Body Knows' workshop, which will teach men to listen to the wisdom of their bodies and make changes that give them more freedom and bliss. Men attending the workshop will come away feeling positive about being able to change some of their unhelpful emotional patterns, such as worry, anxiety, anger or depression and feel more powerful and in control of their emotional life.

Sue said, "Our bodies know more about our problems than our words can express. Sometimes our bodies speak to us with persistent headaches, pain, addictions or compulsions, tension and problems sleeping. This workshop draws on the principles of body psychotherapy, Pesso Boyden therapy, to help people understand what their bodies can teach them so that they can let go of the past and live a more fulfilling and happy future. "

An accredited and UKCP registered clinical psychotherapist, Sue will help people raise insight and self awareness during this workshop at St Albans House Therapy room in Stafford.

Sue continued, "In the workshop people will learn simple techniques to help them understand themselves more, feel more relaxed and begin to change the things that limit them. By doing this in a small, safe and supportive group people can help begin to overcome past traumas, emotional wounds and losses and live with more joy and contentment in the present.. In order for the work to be effective I need a good mix of men and women and I am always in need of more men, hence the free place.

This workshop is designed for men over the age of 18; it will feature a combination of theory and exercises drawn from body psychotherapy and yoga.

The workshop will run on Saturday 23rdJanuary from 10 to 1pm at St Albans House, St Albans Road, Stafford, ST16 3DP and costs £25 but is free for any men attending.

If you would like to get involved or find out any more information about the workshops please contact Sue Tupling on 07411178380 or visit the websitewww.embodiedliving.co.ukfor more details.
