Learn how to how to turn networking into sales at PPS Business Lunch Club

Local business owners will gather in Swindon on Wednesday 6thNovember 2019 to network and to learn "how to turn networking into sales and why every big opportunity starts with a little conversation". All this whilst raising money for a great charity at the same time.

Speaking at the November event is Stefan Thomas, author of Amazon bestseller Business Networking for Dummies, adding social media and traditional marketing to the networking mix.

Sally Holland, a partner with PPS Chartered Accountants who have organised the event said "we recommend many of our small business clients go networking to grow their business. I believe in networking so much that I spend time networking every month, but I realised that it comes more easily to some people than others and wanted to help them get more from their networking experience. Stefan is an expert on getting sales from networking, and we are really pleased we secured him for our event".

Stefan is the author of Business Networking for Dummies, Instant Networking and Win The Room. He speaks to audiences all over Europe on the subject of networking and social media and has been featured in The Guardian, The Telegraph and The Huffington Post. Clients who trust Stefan to advise their teams on networking skills include The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, The Independent Office for Police Conduct, Lloyds Bank, BT and PPS Chartered Accountants.

Since launching the PPS Business Lunch Club two years ago, local accountant Sally has seen the event grow and grow.

"We've been based in Swindon for over 27 years and wanted to give something back", explains Sally. "We give local businesses the opportunity to meet each other and to learn information which can be vital to their business"

The event will take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon and PPS are expecting record numbers.

There is also a fun raffle at the event, supported by PPS and other businesses and Inner Flame has been chosen as the guest charity. The Wiltshire-based charity runs courses for 16-25 year olds to help them develop the essential skills required for both independent life and work.

Over £3,000 has already been raised for local charities and a representative from the charity will be there to receive the funds raised.

"We originally planned this as an event for local businesses", explains Sally, "but it's grown beyond that now and we have businesses from all over Wiltshire attending, and even some booked in from neighbouring counties. We're thrilled because it gives our clients and contacts a real opportunity to build their business, right on their doorstep."

Tickets for the Business Lunch Club cost only £15 (plus VAT and a small booking fee) and all attendees will receive a goody bag. There will also be a raffle on the day, with tickets costing just £5.00. Demand for places is high, so don't delay booking your place at the event.
